Miquel Barceló is a Spanish artist that has worked across a wide range of medium, he has done paintings, ceramics, bronze sculptures, ect. He has draw inspiration from his years of travelling and working in places like Barcelona, Portugal, Paris, New York, West Africa and many more. His travels have had a lot of influence and have shaped his artwork. Barcelo has remained focused on his materials quality to explore texture, touch, and surface. In 2004 Barceló became the youngest artist to ever exhibit at the Louvre.

He inspires me because I like the way he explores different mediums and bases his artwork of his travels and experience as well as I like his incorporation of texture in his paintings |
